Tuloop is my small, story-filled world where dolls, miniatures, and imagination meet. I’m Kinga Ekert, and I bring together my background in pedagogy and my love for hand-crafted miniatures to offer more than just toys – I want to create meaningful play experiences and a sense of belonging.

What Tuloop Is

Tuloop is home to my Dolls Stories Club: an online shop and community centered around dolls, travel dollhouses, and creative play. Here you’ll find carefully chosen dolls, including childlike, imagination-focused brands like Lottie and beautifully detailed Paola Reina dolls, my handmade suitcase dollhouses, miniature accessories, clothing, and playful “doll SPA” and makeover services. I design everything to invite storytelling, support gentle, open-ended play, and travel easily between home, holidays, and everyday adventures.

Why I Created Tuloop

Tuloop grew out of a simple belief: when children (and adults) are given beautiful miniature worlds, they naturally begin to tell stories that help them grow. The spark came when I found a second-hand dollhouse, gave it a makeover, and gifted it to my daughter for Christmas when she was two – watching her disappear into that tiny world showed me how powerful imaginative play can be. With over a decade of experience working with children and youth, I wanted to create portable, detailed objects that respect children’s inner worlds and can be loved for years.

What Makes My Work Different

I design and build every suitcase dollhouse by hand, with attention to durability, aesthetics, and child development. I love transforming traditional, bulky dollhouses into compact, travel-friendly versions without losing detail or charm. Through Tuloop, I speak to two groups at once:​

• Children, parents, and educators looking for thoughtful, developmentally supportive play environments.

• Adult doll lovers and collectors who appreciate craftsmanship, customization, and a sense of community.

 

Beyond the Shop: Club and Community

For me, Tuloop is not just a shop – it’s a club. Through Dolls Stories Club, I host workshops for kids and adults, offer doll SPA treatments and dollhouse makeovers, and plan charity projects where refreshed dolls and miniatures find new homes. The blog and membership options are my way of inviting you to connect with others, discover new ideas for play, and share your own doll stories – whether you’re a parent, educator, or lifelong collector like me.
